THE ENCHANTED WINTER BALL KICKSTARTS WOMEN’S NETWORK

One Family’s dynamic new women’s network was kickstarted by the first ever, Enchanted Winter Ball bringing together a group of inspirational women for a night of Christmas cheer.

The intimate event held on 22nd December at The Taj Hotel, St James’ Court in London, saw a fabulous ladies night of live music, dancing and dining. Held in partnership with luxury décor specialists Enchanted by Syma, the evening began with the delicate sounds of a string trio which provided the perfect welcome.

Later, guests were treated to a fully-halal buffet with a decadent festive twist, while party vibes were provided late into the night by Magic FM DJ Neev Spencer, who effortlessly got everyone on the dancefloor for the exclusive afterparty.

The night also featured a raffle with ultra-exclusive prizes, with all proceeds raised going towards One Family’s Anti-Trafficking Fund partner, Maiti Nepal. To date, the organisation has secured the rescue of more than 55,000 women and girls from trafficking, thanks to the remarkable efforts of founder, Anuradha Koirala. However, thousands of women and girls still endure trafficking crimes each year, with many suffering forced labour, sexual servitude, prostitution and even human tissue removal.

Such a worthy cause provided a fitting focus for all the women who attended, including special guest, TV star, entrepreneur and model, Faryal Makhdoom. One Family were also happy to see several ambassadors and friends turn out for the occasion, along with an array of leading influencers.

The formation of a women’s network was announced recently as an empowering forum for women to share their ideas and inspirations. The diverse network encourages women to celebrate each other in a friendly and relaxed setting, and includes figures from across the worlds of business, tech and philanthropy, as well as leading creatives.

Many more events are already in the pipeline for the coming months, including informal teas, workshops, dinners and motivational talks. We’ll keep you posted with updates!
