One Family has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UNICEF, the most recent organization to partner with the digital-first charity.
Naeem Raza, the CEO of One Family, stated that this would be a particularly productive partnership. “I’m delighted that we have signed this MOU and are partnering with UNICEF. At One Family we want to support high-impact interventions around the world so that more children across the world will grow up safe and healthy, and with access to quality education. These goals closely correspond with UNICEF’s mission statement and it makes sense that we will be working together on high-impact projects that will help vulnerable children around the world.”
UNICEF is mandated by the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for the protection of children’s rights and their basic needs so that all children—no matter their circumstance, gender, or ability—will have the opportunity to reach their full potential. In its mission statement, UNICEF insists that “the survival, protection, and development of children are universal development imperatives that are integral to human progress” and, ultimately, will help assure peaceful coexistence—a long-term vision One Family is proud to share
