Maher Zain, co-founder of One Family, and the CEO of Silatech have inaugurated the Rizk Center for Employment and Vocational Training in Istanbul. The center will provide vocational training for Syrian youth displaced by the conflict. Silatech will also provide technical and financial support to Rizk centers in Istanbul and Orfah, which will provide career guidance and employment services to refugees, including vocational training.
Zain, who was present for the inauguration of the new center, said,
“I am glad to be here to witness and support such an important initiative. I truly believe that it is a responsibility for each every one of us to do his part in supporting our Syrian brothers during their crisis. I have accepted this invitation because I believe in the organization’s mandate and mission in linking Arab youth to jobs in order to improve their livelihood. Along with my own foundation, One Family, I look forward to working with Silatech to change lives for the better.”
