One Family Ambassador Maher Zain participated in The Prudential Ride 100, a cycling equivalent of the London Marathon, supporting One Family’s Refugee Fund to support innocent civilians impacted by the Syrian war.

Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, over 80,000 cyclists took on the grueling 100-mile cycle ride through London and Surrey, made famous by the 2012 London Olympic Games. At the finish line, Maher said, “I hadn’t started training for this as early as I wanted to, so it wasn’t easy, particularly the long uphill stretches. I got through it by focusing on what we’re trying to do – helping people that really need us right now.”
